Sunday Morning Elaboration on Farmer's Market Goodies

It occurred to me that I did not give you all a good up close look at the delightful loot I scored yesterday morning, so here it is.


Here's a good look at all my veggies: carrots, celery, onion (basic mise en place, Uncle Jon: I know what I'm doing here!), strawberries, leeks (they're in the Ziplock: I prepped them last night so I'll use them this week) lemons, garlic, tri-colored potatoes.

Yes, I know that my pictures are smeary because I have a fingerprint on my camera lens. I will clean the camera lens before I take anymore pictures, but I'm not redoing these. My hooligans are throwing Multi-Grain Cheerios.

And finally, my guilty splurge: flowers. I have to have flowers in the house when it's dreary outside. Don't they look stunning in my $4 Target Christmas Clearance Vase? Some day we will cover Target Clearance, though that is more of a Mommy-Adventure.
